Not only did my day start out with a rush of excitement but the rest of the day has been fantastic as well!
I didn't do as well as I would have liked on my French quiz. I didn't study this weekend. Shame on me. To busy spending money I shouldn't be spending. :I But it's ok because the time I should have been spending on French last night was spent playing violin so I feel it was a decent compensation.
Had a fantastic conversation in French lab this afternoon as well. One of the girls that I study with, Alexis, is a born again christian and we started talking about politics and religion (my fave) and it got the whole group excited. There was little ol' Patty (the silver haired "mother" of the group) sitting there in awe that we would be having this conversation. It was heated but it wasn't closed minded and it was great!
Went on my date today with Jonathan. It was also fantasticly fun. He's a neat guy, very cute and quite smart. I'm curious to find out how old he is though. He's also started teaching at New college. No way he's over 32 (TOPS!) but I find it rather amusing that I could easily be one of his students. He's a Sagittarius, his birthday being 4 days after mine in fact. Nerie, how does that work out oh guru of the sag? We have another lunch date sometime next week. My choice. How exciting!
